Appellee, State of Maryland Deposit Insurance Fund Corporation (MDIF), is the receiver of Community Savings & Loan, Inc. (CSL), a Maryland chartered, capital stock savings and loan corporation. In an action for damages based on breaches of the duties of loyalty and care owed to CSL by its officers and directors, MDIF obtained judgments, jointly and severally, against appellants, Tom J.
