Appellee, Charlie W. George, is a school bus driver, and his wife, Susie George, a teacher. On the morning of November 15, 1956, around 8:30 a.m., George stopped the bus on Highway 10 to pick up school passengers, including appellee, Susie George. Ross Weatherford was driving his Ford pick-up truck east on Highway 10 toward Little Rock, by his statement, “ * * * not over 50 miles an hour. ’ ’ It had' been raining, and the highway was slick.
