This is an action of trespass brought by the plaintiff, Lou Winegardner, to recover damages for the death of her husband resulting, as she alleges, from the negli*498gence of the defendant township. At the conclusion of the evidence, the court below directed a verdict for the defendant, and, judgment having been entered thereon, the plaintiff has taken this appeal. In his remarks to the jury the learned judge suggested there were a great number of reasons why the plaintiff could not recover.
