In an action brought by the Western Electric Company, as plaintiff, and the Norway Pacific Construction & Drydock Company, a corporation, as defendant, appellant Barham was, on June 7, 1920, appointed receiver of the defendant, hereinafter-called the “Norway Company.” The receiver took possession of all of the assets of the Norway Company, consisting of a shipbuilding yard with buildings and machinery at Everett, Washington.
