Plaintiff Mark Ridge ("plaintiff") commenced this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g) of the Social Security Act on February 3, 2017, challenging the final decision of the Acting Commissioner of Social Security (the "Commissioner" or the "government") denying plaintiff's application for Social Security disability benefits on December 12, 2016. An Administrative Law Judge ("ALJ") determined that plaintiff had the residual functional capacity to perform light work, as defined in 20 C.F.R. § 404.1567(b), with certain limitations.
