Plaintiff Madeline Albizu ("plaintiff") commenced this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g) of the Social Security Act on July 19, 2017, challenging the final decision of the Acting Commissioner of Social Security (the "Commissioner") denying plaintiff's application for Social Security disability benefits on May 22, 2017. An Administrative Law Judge ("ALJ") determined that plaintiff had the residual functional capacity to perform sedentary work as defined in 20 C.F.R. §§ 404.1567(a) and 416.967(a), with certain limitations.
