The respondent first assigns as error the trial judge’s denial of respondent’s motions to strike certain testimony of Dr. Rector. Respondent contends that on two occasions Dr. Rector’s testimony was not responsive to the questions asked. We disagree.

On re-cross examination by respondent’s attorney Dr. Rector was asked to describe the size of the burn on the child’s buttock. Dr. Rector described the size as “irregular” and “easily covered by a napkin.” He then testified that the type of burn he was referring to “could conceivably be consistent with somebody being lowered into…
