Mary H. Staehler appeals from a jury verdict finding her fifty percent causally negligent, awarding medical expenses of $2989.67 and awarding no damages for past or future pain and suffering. On appeal, Staehler argues that the apportionment of negligence and the denial of damages for pain and suffering are not supported by the evidence; the medical expense award is perverse and the jury failed to follow instructions; and, the taxation of costs was in error because the defendants' offer of judgment was invalid.
