This is an appeal from a conviction for aggravated robbery. K.S.A. 21-3427.

On August 18, 1980, at 12:35 p.m. Steve Coltharp, chief of police in Cherryvale, received an anonymous telephone call at the police station from what sounded like a middle-aged, Caucasian female. The caller stated that an accident had occurred out near the cemetery and the drivers of the cars were fighting. Coltharp went to the cemetery, which is two miles east of the Town and Country Market, and found no such accident and no fight. Upon arriving back at the police…
