Appellee was tried by a 'general court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members. Contrary to his pleas, he was convicted of attempted abusive sexual contact -with a child, attempted aggravated sexual abuse of a child, abusive sexual contact with a child, two specifications of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, and two specifications of aggravated sexual contact with a child, in violation of Articles 80 and 120, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C §§ 880, 920 (2006). 1 The convictions were all based on the version of Article…
