MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

MORAN, Senior District Judge.

This action for fraud under the laws of Illinois arises from damage allegedly suffered by CBI Industries, Inc. (CBI) due to its business dealings with Alfred Slifka. For the reasons stated herein, the complaint is dismissed.

BACKGROUND

Praxair, Inc. (Praxair), a Delaware corporation headquartered in Connecticut, is engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling medical and specialty gases to customers located throughout the United States.
