The defendant city furnishes electrical light and power to its inhabitants, and charges for the service, the same as a private corporation might.do.
Plaintiff’s wife fell dead while' she was in the act of hanging a wet sheet upon a wire clothesline in the back yard of her residence. The cause of her death is one of the points in dispute. Plaintiff contends that the wire clothesline had' become charged with electricity from the electrical light wire of the defendant, and that she was electrocuted.
