'WHITE, J.

The record shows that in the Circuit Court of Dade County, Monday, March 11, 1929, the defendant was arraigned on a charge of transporting intoxicating liquor, and pleaded not guilty; that he had no attorney, and the court appointed EdAvin Frieze to defend him, and the same day judgment was rendered reciting that a verdict AA'as returned against defendant finding him guilty as charged in count one of the information, leaving the punishment to the court; that the court sentenced the defendant to imprisonment in the penitentiary for a term of three years; that the defendant thereupon…
