Appellant was convicted after trial before a City Magistrate sitting as a Court of Special Sessions of the City of New York, Borough of Brooklyn, of violating subdivision 5-a of section 70 of the Yehicle and Traffic Law (leaving the scene of an accident without reporting). Appellant was sentenced to pay a fine of $50 or to serve five days, and his license was revoked. The fine was paid. The appeal is from the judgment of conviction and the sentence imposed.
