The complaint, in substance, alleges that Carl Thayer, Jr., is a minor, without guardian, and Mamie O. Hall has been duly appointed his next friend by the court. That Carl Thayer, the defendant is the father of Carl Thayer, Jr., born out of wedlock, Mamie O. Hall being his mother. That the defendant, Carl Thayer, "contracted with the mother of the plaintiff (Mamie O.
