TENNEY, District Judge.
Continental U.K. Limited (“petitioner”) has filed a motion with this Court to compel arbitration of its claim for seawater damage to a cargo of soy beans carried on the M/V COMMON VENTURE (“the ship”) in a journey from Chicago to England. Petitioner is the cargo owner and holder of the bill of lading issued when the soybeans were loaded on the ship. Anagel Confidence Compañía Naviera, S.A. (“respondent”) owns the ship and originally time-chartered it to Fednav Ltd. (“Fed-nav”), who in turn, entered into a voyage charter party (“the subcharter”) with Stellar Chartering…
