Plaintiff-appellant Thomson-CSF, S.A. (“Thomson”) appeals from a judgment entered in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (Keenan, /.), denying its request for declaratory and injunctive relief and granting defendant-ap-pellee Evans & Sutherland Computer Corporation’s (“E & S”) cross-motion to compel arbitration. Thomson asserts that the district court improvidently compelled it to arbitrate against E & S based upon an arbitration agreement between E & S and Thomson’s subsidiary, to which Thomson was not a signatory.
