This is an appeal from an award of damages occasioned by the taking of a portion of the plaintiff’s land in Exeter by the defendant for the construction of a limited-access highway. Trial by jury with a view resulted in a verdict for the plaintiff in the amount of $15,000.

During the course of the trial the plaintiff excepted to the rulings of the Court admitting certain evidence. After verdict the plaintiff excepted to the denial of its motion for a new trial. These exceptions were reserved and transferred by Grant, J.
