Thomas S. Tichenor, deceased, by his will, after ordering that his debts and funeral expenses be paid, gave to his wife, Emeline, the use, improvement and income of his dwelling-house and its *40appurtenances, and the freehold connected therewith, together with the sum of $200 per annum from the income of his personal estate, to be paid to her annually by his executors during the term of her natural life.
