OPINION

CANTU, Justice.

Relator was confined pursuant to a commitment order issued by the 285th Judicial District Court of Bexar County after sustaining a Motion for Contempt upon a finding that relator had violated a previous order of the court entered on October 30, 1979, in Cause No. 78-CI-13387, styled Elizabeth M. Hovermale v. Chester B. Hover-male, requiring relator to pay to his former wife a portion of his gross monthly military retirement pay, based on a formula set out in the decree of divorce.
