| tSylvia Scott, without the assistance of counsel, initially filed suit against Transitional Hospital Corporation of Louisiana, Inc., which does business as Kindred Hospital New Orleans, for injuries she alleged she sustained from a sexual battery committed upon her by one of the hospital’s employees. Kindred, contending that the claim must first be submitted to a medical review panel, filed an exception of prematurity in the trial court.
