PUDLOWSKI, Presiding Judge.

This is an appeal from a judgment entered in the St. Charles County Circuit Court affirming the decision of the Board of Trustees of the Pension Fund for the City of Ferguson refusing appellant’s application for a disability pension. We affirm.

*222Appellant was hired by the City of Ferguson on March 3, 1969 as a radio dispatcher for the police department. At the time of his employment the City was well aware that he was suffering from a congenital back injury that restricted him from doing certain types of work.
