Anthony M. Bentley (“Bentley”), the debtor herein, filed this Chapter 11 case on March 20, 1981. He owns and now occupies, and has owned since about 1975, a cooperative apartment, apartment 4M (the “Apartment”), at 75 East End Avenue, New York, New York. Bentley, a lawyer, served for a number of years as a member of the directors of the cooperative corporation.
