HOLTZOFF, District Judge.

This case involves a spendthrift trust, i. e., a trust to pay the income to a named beneficiary, coupled with a provision that the beneficiary’s interest shall not be transferable by him and shall not be subject to the claims of his creditors. 1 The question presented is whether such income may be reached for the purpose of paying maintenance and alimony awarded by a court.
