This cause involves a homestead and an interest of a surviving wife in her deceased husband’s estate as a forced heir at law.
Gena Ward, nee Cook, was the wife of William Nye Cook, who died March 12, 1917, and left surviving him the said wife and an infant son and his mother, Mary Cook. Deceased’s estate consisted of 240 acres of land valued at $5,000. By will the deceased tentatively bequeathed to his wife $100, and tentatively bequeathed to his infant son 40 acres of land located in McClain county.
