OPINION

RABINOWITZ, Chief Justice.

This appeal concerns a divorce decree in which the superior court awarded 74 percent of the marital assets to Norma Schanck and 26 percent to James Schanck. The husband advances three principal specifications of error in this appeal. First James disputes several of the items the superior court included in the category of marital assets on the ground that he earned them after his wife filed for divorce.
