The New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) brought this action to recover monies paid in two personal injury actions where it was the defendant. In both of those actions, the plaintiffs were represented by Morris J. Eisen, P. C. (the Eisen firm). The NYCTA alleges that the payments, one a settlement and the other a satisfaction of a jury verdict, were procured by fraud. The two personal injury actions, Robbins v New York City Tr. Auth.
