This suit was brought in the district court of McLennan county under the Workmen’s Compensation Act of this state (Vernon’s Ann. Civ. St. art. S306 et seq.) to recover the benefits allowed by such act for the death of Eobert Moore, an employee who was accidentally killed at Greenville, Miss., while in the discharge of his duties at that place as a laborer for Pittsburgh-Des Moines Steel Company. Our Workmen’s Compensation Act provides, in part, as follows: “If an employee, who has been hired in this State, sustain injury in the course of his employment he shall be entitled to compensation…
