After a jury trial, defendant Michael Merédith was found guilty of rape, armed robbery, and aggravated kidnapping in violation of sections 11 — 1, 18 — 2, and 10 — 2, respectively, of the Criminal Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, pars. 11 — 1, 18 — 2, and 10 — 2) and was sentenced to concurrent sentences of 7 to 21 years for each offense. Defendant appeals.
