M. W. Armstrong was struck and killed by a train of the Illinois Central Railroad Company, which was being operated upon a railroad which was owned by the Chicago, St. Louis and New Orleans Railroad Company, and which had been leased to the former company by the latter. The loss of decedent’s life occurred at the crossing of a street or road near the corporate limits of the city of Paducah, which is called “Husband’s Crossing.” This action was instituted by the administrator of the decedent against both of the railroad companies to recover from…
