This is an action against Worcester Township, Mont*454gomery County, to recover compensation for the destruction, by fire, of plaintiff’s barn caused by sparks thrown from defendant’s steam road roller. Defendant is a township of the second class and, under the provisions of the Act of July 22, 1913, P. L. 915, employed a road-master to superintend the care and improvement of the roads of the district within which the fire occurred.
