Under the provisions and by the authority of article IV, section 42, of the Constitution of the State, and section 343, article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws, passed in pursuance thereof, the appellant, George B. Woelfel, was, on April 26th, 1939, appointed by the Governor of Maryland a justice of the peace for the 6th Election District of Anne Arundel County, and the appointment confirmed by the State-Senate, for the term of two years beginning the first Monday of May, (May 1st) 1939, qualified before the clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, and entered upon the…
