OPINION

ODOM, Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction for capital murder. At the punishment phase of the trial, the jury answered the issues under Art. 37.071, V.A.C.C.P. affirmatively and the death penalty was assessed.

Appellant raises twenty-one grounds of error on appeal. In light of Adams v. Texas, 448 U.S. 38, 100 S.Ct. 2521, 65 L.Ed.2d 581 (1980), however, our initial and primary attention focuses on one of the contentions that several prospective jurors were improperly excused over objection under Witherspoon v.
