Gayle George (the “Debtor”) lives in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin, and she filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition in the Eastern District of Wisconsin on August 30, 2010. Wisconsin debtors can choose their exempt property from either the Wisconsin state exemptions or the federal bankruptcy exemptions under 11 U.S.C. § 522(d).
