OPINION

WOZNIAK, Judge.

The school board of Independent School District No. 597 placed Donald Grinolds on unrequested leave of absence on May 30, 1984. Upon Grinolds’ petition, Polk County District Court decided to review the school board’s decision and issued a writ of certio-rari. The writ was subsequently vacated on the grounds that the district court did not have jurisdiction to issue the writ. Gri-nolds appeals from the vacating order, claiming that the district court erred on the jurisdictional issue; or, in the alternative, that discretionary review should be granted at this time. We…
