Defendants-Appellants Joel W. Robbins, as Dade County Property Appraiser, Fred Ganz, as Dade County Tax Collector, and the State of Florida Department of Revenue (collectively, the “County”), appeal the district court’s affirmance of the bankruptcy court’s order granting final judgment for Plaintiff-Appellee William A. Brandt, Jr., the trustee in bankruptcy (Trustee). The Trustee filed this adversary proceeding seeking to establish that certain ad valorem taxes on a collection of artworks were invalid and that the related tax lien was avoidable.
