The defendant-appellant, BeWayne B. Evans, hereinafter referred to as the defendant, was sentenced to 15-45 years in the penitentiary after being found guilty of armed robbery by a Lake County jury. On appeal the defendant has raised four issues. First, he asserts he was denied effective assistance of counsel. Secondly, he argues that the trial court erroneously admitted certain items seized by the use of an allegedly invalid search warrant into evidence.
