Appeal from a decision of the Workers’ Compensation Board, filed December 14, 2005, which ruled that the death of claimant’s decedent was not causally related to his employment and denied her claim for workers’ compensation death benefits.
Decedent was employed by the Genessee County Sheriff’s Department as a correction officer at the time of his death. Decedent had a history of heart problems and had been previously diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia. In May 2002, shortly before his death, decedent was admitted to the emergency room and released.
