Appeal from a decision of the Workers’ Compensation Board, filed March 26, 2014, which ruled that the death of claimant’s husband was causally related to his employment and awarded workers’ compensation benefits.
On December 14, 2010, claimant’s husband (hereinafter decedent) was employed as a process operator assigned to Albany International Airport’s glycol facility, which, among other things, produces the glycol necessary for deicing the aircraft and filtering the glycol from runoff water in the airport’s drainage system.
