This appeal, involving an insurance coverage dispute, raises two issues. The first issue is which insurance company, American Home Assurance Company (American Home) or Forum Insurance Company (Forum), is liable to defend these defendants in the underlying lawsuit; and, if both are liable, how that liability should be apportioned. The second issue is whether the insurance companies are liable to pay any exemplary or punitive damages awarded against the defendants.
