In the months of June, July, and August, 1907, the appellee, William H. Hall, the plaintiff in the court below, was a married man and the head of a family residing in Douglas county, Nebraska. He was employed by the appellant as a switchman in its yards at Omaha, and had formerly lived at Crestón, in Union county, Iowa.
