A very clear and concise statement of the case was made by solicitors for appellant, A. B. C. Coal Co., Inc., substantially as follows: The original bill was filed by Effie Walker Welch and others in the Chancery Court of Putnam County on May 21, 1952, alleging that complainants were the owners and in possession of a tract of land described in the bill, and that the defendant, A. B. C. Coal Co., Inc., was committing trespass upon said land by cutting and removing timber and by attempting to enclose and take possession of a portion of the land. The bill prayed for a temporary…
