ROGERS, Circuit Judge:

The District of Columbia and two of its employees, Hampton Cross and Patricia A Montgomery (collectively “the District”) appeal a judgment awarding approximately $2.4 million in compensatory damages, $1,000 in punitive damages, and $684,624 in attorney’s fees and costs to Samaritan Inns, Inc., for violations of the Fair Housing Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 3601-3631.
