PUTNAM, Circuit Judge.
This appeal will be found not to concern the cargo of coal, as the title of the case would indicate, but the freight thereon.
The steamer City of Everett, belonging to the American Steel Barge Company, the libelant, was chartered by it, under a time charter, on March 1, 1898, to the Atlantic Transportation Company; the charter money being payable in monthly installments in advance.
