Plaintiff Thomas W. Dodge brought suit on a fire insurance policy against defendant United Services Automobile Association (the Company), seeking statutory penalties, attorney’s fees, and damages allegedly resulting from the Company’s late payment of his claim for fire loss, and raising other related claims for loss under the policy.
