Jones v. Lazerson

Petitioner, Fannie Jones, filed a petition in the circuit court of Madison County for a writ of certiorari to review the decision by Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville (SIU-E) not to renew her employment contract. Named as respondents were Earl Lazerson, president of SIU-E; Lawrence Pettit, chancellor of Southern Illinois University; and the Southern Illinois University Board of Trustees.
