DECISION ON TRUSTEE’S RECOMMENDATION RE: SALE OF STOCK
JEROME FELLER, Bankruptcy Judge.
Before the Court is a controversy arising from a Chapter 7 auction sale, conducted pursuant to § 363(b) of the Bankruptcy Code. The auction punctuates over two years of effort by the trustee to market and sell certain property of the estate. That property, shares of common stock, comprises a controlling interest in Olympian Bank, a small community bank operating in Brooklyn and Queens.
