Appeal from a judgment of the Court of Claims (Collins, J.), entered October 31, 2007, which granted defendants’ motion for summary judgment dismissing the claim.
The contract underlying this dispute is an agreement (hereinafter the option agreement) between claimant, a residential land developer, and defendant New York State Canal Corporation which granted claimant an exclusive option to acquire easements for the development of certain residential projects along the Erie Canal.
