¶ 1. A Hinds County Circuit Court jury convicted Alvin Brown of manslaughter and four counts of aggravated assault. The trial court sentenced Brown to twenty years for the manslaughter conviction and ten years for each aggravated-assault conviction, all in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC).- The aggravated-assault sentences were ordered to run concurrently with each other, and consecutively to the manslaughter' sentence.
