Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court (Lamont, J.), entered November 21, 2003 in Albany County, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crime of assault in the second degree.
After a jury trial, defendant was convicted of one count of assault in the second degree and sentenced to a prison term of seven years, with five years of postrelease supervision. Initially, we find no merit to defendant’s challenge to the sufficiency of the evidence.
